February 2012 – more updates!

A new version of the system will be going live this week with so many fixes, updates and enhancements it’s impossible to list them all here. Needless to say all are items that aide the functionality, usability and the overall feature set of the system.

A large proportion of our focus from now will be in terms of the client management side of the system, and some exciting developments are now in the pipeline.

Rounding off the year

It’s a few months since the last published update to this site, but that’s mainly because we’ve been so busy rolling out new features and enhancements to the Concilium and C-Fleet systems.

There have been far too many of these to detail all of them here, but some of the significant work has revolved around Whole Life Costs, Benefit in Kind Calculations, Enhancements to the Driver Management process and Transaction Search facilities as well as a fair amount of integration work for some of the ancillary product and service providers.

Our big push now is to get enough developer time over the next couple of months to break the back of the new module that has now had the budget signed off that will focus around the sales process and additionally a web app for client drivers to simplify their update proceedures.

It’s looking like a busy Christmas and New Year for us then! In the meantime Seasons Greetings!

August Updates

New features added to the system this month include:

Service Booking Facility – Users can now book service and maintenance directly from within the C-Fleet / e-Fleet systems
Multiple Orders Handling – Simplified and enhanced the creation of multiple orders within the systems
New Order Review Statuses – Sveral new transaction statuses have been added to allow better control of the vehicle progress
Numerous Housekeeping items – e.g. VAT amount breakdowns, Extended Mileage Reporting etc..

The coming months will see the addition of many new automation featurs along with a new front end for client handling – this work is now past the specification phase and should be introduced to development during September.

June and July new features

Several new features have come online since our last post, not least of which is the addition of a new dealer stock facility, this allows our supporting dealers to promote specific stock and special offers directly to the sales people within the finance partners organisations.

Our minor modifications wish list has been significantly reduced during the last few weeks, with enhancements to the auto email schedule system, and the bulk order progress management.

Our next work will focus on user definition and security, but more on this will be added here over the next few weeks…

Developments May 2011

So we are well into another month and another batch of updates and enhancements are in progress, not least of these is the completion of the service booking facility, but also in line with the general integration theme we are running at the moment a series of new features that allow for automatic updates and registration of vehicles on our accident management partners systems, avoiding the need for double entry and thus reducing potential errors.

The pipeline of development work is still filling up as quickly as we’re getting through it, however we have had a couple of quit complex pieces of work to go through, so the pace should now start to gather somewhat..

System Integration April 2011

Our continual development program continues (as it would!) and this month we are well underway with a number of projects encompassing new features and enhancements, including integrating historical customer service data from a number of our vehicle servicing partners as well as adding an online service booking feature for end user clients, at the same time we are adding new and improved functionality to the dealer stock offers and an upgrade to the automated email system.

Our development team have had another busy few weeks getting some feature enhancements live on the system.

New Features include:

Recategorisation of Dealers/Suppliers
Improved Vehicle Search Page
Simplified Identification of Vehicle Models
Messaging system enhancements
Better reporting on Fuel Card and Employee Data

We don’t leave things there though, the next batch of updates and improvements are already underway…!

Another batch of changes and updates have been put live this week, including enhancements to the dealer order process, and a redesign of the cap data import and update processes.

Sytem Updates

Several new updates are nearing completion and should be live by 1st March 2011.

Dealer Database structure changes – allowing for greter flexibility and ease of use for users
CAP Data integration. Better handling of the changes to key information during the vehicle order process
Vehicle selection page. More search options to speed up vehicle selection and querys
Client Credit line handling. New statuses allowing client credit lines to be managed more simply and reporting to be enhanced.
Enhanced Dealer Contact Management system.

As always a period of testing the devlopments is underway and once complete the version upgrade will be applied to all users.
